Description:

Holladay Park Plaza, a part of Pacific Retirement Services, is a beautiful not-for-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC). Located right in the heart of the Lloyd District, our residents enjoy a beautiful homelike atmosphere and have the finest amenities available within their own community including our onsite 5 star health center. Our Wellness program that is led by our Wellness Coordinator who utilizes our facilities (IE pool, gym, fitness studio, etc.) and manages a vibrant wellness program for our residents. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with the senior population and responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

  • Supervise, schedule and train staff in all areas of wellness.
  • Create and coordinate programs with the residents and the outside community and other organizations and individuals.
  • Conducts personal fitness and health assessments with residents and staff to determine initial fitness qualifications and makes any necessary referrals to physicians for approval.
  • Supervise all monthly calendar events and programs.
  • Manage all aspects of pool operations including scheduling, safety, staffing and compliance with regulations.
  • Manage all wellness equipment and programs.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must possess a current American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Certificate, an American Red Cross Standard First Aid Certificate, and a current CPR for the Professional Rescuer Certificate including AED Essential.
  • Ability to coordinate and lead a specialized activity.
  • Some experience with subject activity preferred.
  • Ability to communicate with, and lead residents through an activity.
  • Ability to understand oral and/or written activities.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license, and be insurable by Holladay Park’s insurance carrier.
