The System Administrator (Network Engineer) will assist with design, installation, administration, maintenance, and optimization of company infrastructure related components. This exempt position is full-time, requiring a minimum average of forty (40) hours per week. Work hours shall remain flexible to meet the needs of the department. Job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Assist on large projects including the selection, design and implementation of new systems, applications, hardware and third party services
Coordinate and collaborate with the business application team and external managed partners to ensure availability, reliability, and scalability of corporate network to meet business demands
Assist with establishing and implementing policies, procedures, access rights and technologies (including firewalls) to ensure network security
Assist in designing, implementing and monitoring data center/server room security features, including HVAC control, environmental alarms, access restrictions, etc.
Assist with network and telecom design and capacity planning

Must have minimum of 5 years of experience in a multi-location corporate network environment
Certified, or in the process of certification of:
MCSA / MCTS
Prior experience with network switching equipment, routers and firewall solutions, including networking best practices
Valid OR driver’s license and be insurable under corporate insurance carrier
