Position Overview: Medication Aides at SRC Assisted Living are responsible for the passing and delivering of medications to the residents in our community. They must adhere to all applicable regulations in the performance of this position, and maintain complete and accurate documentation of all transactions. Medication Aides are responsible for reporting any changes in condition to the Director of Clinical Services and assist to ensure the well being of the seniors in our care.

Position Requirements:

  • Must have current Certified Nurse's Aide Certification in CA
  • Must have current Medication Aide Certification
  • Must have at least one year of experience working as a C.N.A. or Med Aide in an RCFE community
  • Knowledge of State and Federal regulations
  • Experience passing medications as required per Title 22 Regulations
  • Ability to effectively communicate with residents, families and managers
  • Exceptional organizational skills, the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to maintain and promote resident rights, privacy, and dignity
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with others as well as function independently
