| ||, nestled on seven beautiful acres in Santa Rosa, is a caring community of elders created in the Quaker tradition of equality and simplicity. Our residents are engaged in activities of everyday life here as well as in the community outside. We are seeking a highly motivated, creative sales professional to work part-time on our team with the potential to develop into a full-time role. Our Sales Counselors introduce prospective residents, and their families, to all aspects of residential living at Friends House and respond to questions, provide information and follow-up to those interested in becoming residents.|
The right candidate possesses the ability to build and nurture relationships with prospective residents, and has exceptional verbal and written communication skills. The right candidate also possesses superior presentation skills, is proficient in Microsoft Systems such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office, and is familiar with database systems. Candidate must also have the desire to work with seniors, be flexible and have the ability to easily adapt to competing priorities while maintaining positive customer service relationships, practicing honesty and integrity in all aspects of job performance.
This position reports directly to the Marketing Director and requires a minimum of one year advanced education with a college degree. Prior experience with a retirement community is preferred, and two years' experience in relationship-based selling, marketing and/or a combination of such experience in a senior living environment is required. Knowledge of sales and marketing concepts with senior adults and an understanding of retirement community lifestyle is also required.
